ROCHESTER - Audrey Smith, 85, of Crocket Street, died Friday June 18, 2021, after a long illness.
Born January 10, 1936, in South Effingham to Eugene and Blanche (Libby) Moody.
Audrey has lived most of her life in Rochester. She was a wonderful homemaker, who loved her family deeply. In the past she enjoyed making ceramics and enjoyed spending time on Aunt Mildred and Uncle Leon's farm in S. Effingham. She also enjoyed gambling.
Members of her family include her husband of 68 years, whom she met when they were 14 years old, James R. Smith Sr, her son, James R. Smith Jr and his wife Rhonda of Rochester, a grandson, whom she loved very much, Jared Smith of Rochester, she is predeceased by her brother, Rodney Moody and a sister, Shirley Sparks.
