Author of several books for young people to give talk in Lebanon

LEBANON, Maine - The Lebanon Historical Society's next meeting is set for Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Martha Sawyer Library on Upper Guinea Road.

The featured speaker will be Jean Flahive who is the author of four children's books including The Old Mariner and The Sea and The Canoe Maker.

Flahive has also penned three young adult historical novels.

She will be discussing many of her stories. The meeting is free and open to the public. For more info contact Nancy A Wyman at 207 658 4259.
