DOVER - A 25-year-old Barrington man died early Sunday when the vehicle he was driving hit some trees off Tolend Road.
The crash occurred around 1:40 a.m. in the area of Tolend and Glen Hill roads when a 2020 Kia Stinger driven by Brett Holmquist was traveling westbound on Tolend Road, left the roadway and crashed, ejecting the driver.
Holmquist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tolend Road between Glen Hill Road and Route 125 was closed a few hours as police investigated the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Dover Police Department's Special Investigations Unit.
