CONCORD - A Berlin man who was the focus of a daylong Amber Alert on Friday has been arrested in the death of the mother of his children.

Dustin Mark Duren, 37, is accused of killing Caitlyn Naffziger, 31, at 1063 Main St. in Berlin on Thursday around 10:30 p.m. shortly after which State and Berlin Police responded to their apartment.

An autopsy conducted on Friday determined that the cause of Naffziger's death was a single gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of her death was homicide.

Early Friday morning an Amber Alert was issued for Duren and his two children, 4 and 1, who were believed to be traveling with him. Around 11 a.m. witnesses saw Duren's vehicle outside a restaurant on Key Road in Keene and called police. All three individuals were found safely.
