ROCHESTER - Bernard W. Tremblay, 82, died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at home after a period of failing health. Bernard was born in Somersworth, N.H., on June 10, 1934, the son of Wilfred and Delia (Desharnais) Tremblay and has lived in Rochester, N.H., for the past 38 years.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a letter carrier in Somersworth, N.H. He was an Army veteran, serving in Korea and was a member of the Catholic War Vets. He was also a founding member of the BK 101 Civics Group.
Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Beverly Tremblay of Rochester, one son, Michael Tremblay and his wife Denise of Rochester, one daughter, Susan Stull of Pownal, Maine. Four grandchildren, Justin Turcotte of Pownal, Maine, Jenna York and her husband Justin of Yarmouth, Maine, Bryan Tremblay and his fiancé Julie of Canada, and Brandan Tremblay and his wife Sarah of Raymond, N.H., and four great grandchildren, Lucas and Ian Minnihan of Yarmouth, Maine and Arianna and Bentley Tremblay of Raymond, N.H.
