ROCHESTER - Bertha M. Trask, 83, died Saturday, March 27 at home after a long period of failing health, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born June 25, 1937 in Wolfeboro, she was the daughter of Fred and Evelyn (Thibeault) Glidden.
Bertha has lived in Rochester for the past eight years after moving from Milton where she lived for 32 years. She was employed at G.E. for 26 years. Bertha was happiest when spending time with her family and doing for others. She enjoyed baking everyone's favorite treats, and especially loved decorating cakes for their special day.
She was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church where you would find her in the kitchen preparing food, serving, and cleaning up. She also loved the church card ministry where she would make sure cards were sent for all life's occasions.
Members of her family include daughters; Donna Field and her husband Bill and Susan Paradis of Rochester, her grandchildren; Kristopher Libby and his wife Stacy of Barrington, Tyler Libby and his wife Amanda of Georgetown Mass., Billy Field and his wife Kristin of Westford Mass., Lindsey Boisvert, and her husband Adam of Rochester Samantha Paradise, Tabbitha Farmer and her husband Danny, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Bertha was predeceased by her husband of 51 years; Ronald Trask, daughter; Paula Paradis, son; Paul Paradise, brother; Allen Glidden; and her four-legged companion, Gracie.
