ROCHESTER - Beverly A Johnson, 81, of 33 Highland St., died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2018 at her home.
Born December 16, 1936 in Saugus, Mass. she was the daughter of Chester and Elinor (Leavitt) Johnson.
Beverly has lived in Rochester since 2004 after moving from Milton. She was a graduate of Spaulding High School class of 1954. She later worked as a store clerk for Woolworth's and Rich's Department Store until the day they closed. She loved sports, such as basketball and horseshoes, but her love of bowling earned her the title of State Champion in New Hampshire. She was a Yankees fan as well as a Celtics and Patriots fan. Beverly was a well known and a well liked person everywhere she went.
Members of her family include her five nieces, numerous great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her twin brothers, Richard and Robert Johnson, and her sisters, Eleanor LaChance and Gail Vachon.
