SOMERSWORTH - Brian S. Mourgenos, 53, of Somersworth, died unexpectedly on April 17, 2023. Brian was born in Rochester on July 21, 1969, the son of William "Andy" Mourgenos & Priscilla (Landry) Mourgenos.

A lifelong resident of the tri-city area, Brian was married to the mother of his children, Wendy Roy, for 20 years. They built a beautiful home on Lowell Street in Rochester where they raised five children together. Brian was the co-owner of A&M roofing and ran the company alongside his father, Andy. They took great pride in their business and could be found riding around together in a truck stacked high with ladders or sitting at their favorite diner for breakfast. There wasn't a street Brian could drive down where you wouldn't catch him pointing to a house that he had worked on.

There was nothing Brian loved more than his children. He spoke often of fond memories created at Baxter Lake, camping, fishing, and tubing with them. He always enjoyed hunting with his son, Andrew, as well as coaching his baseball teams throughout the years. He had a presence that lit up the room and was a joy to be around. He could hold a conversation for hours and leave anyone with a smile. Brian will be remembered by his bright smile, witty sense of humor, and outgoing personality.

He is predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Mourgenos, mother, Priscilla Mourgenos, and most recently, his father, Andy Mourgenos. Brian is survived by his children, Ashley, Brittany, Alexis, Andrew, Jillian, and Ava; grandchildren, Madison, Ryder, Easton, Emma, Hudson, Cameron, and soon to be, Haven; his sister, Melissa; nieces, Nichole, Jenessa, and Alyssa; and nephew, Tommy.
