Car seized, person of interest sought in fatal hit-run

SOMERSWORTH - A vehicle and person of interest have been identified in Saturday's hit-and-run that killed a Somersworth woman.

A white 2003 Hyundai Elantra seized was the "striking vehicle," police say.

Killed in the accident was Gail Burwen, 71, of West High Street.

Police are now trying to locate Lisa Pearl Devore, 31, whose last known address is 65 Green St., Somersworth.

The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of High Street and Bartlett Avenue.

Anyone having information as to Devore's whereabouts is asked to contact the Somersworth Police Department at the following.
