Carol A (Croteau) Kolomiitchenko died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, from cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Carol was born in Rochester, the daughter of David and Helene (Masse) Croteau. She was educated in the Somersworth school system graduating in 1974.

Carol attained her nursing degree in 1998 and began her professional, compassionate care of others working for local doctors' offices, hospitals and elder care facilities where she found her niche and made many friends and long term relationships.

Carol and her loving husband Iouri (Yuri), of 23 years, together traveled to memorable places such as the Ukraine, Quebec, Vermont and the coast of Maine. Impromptu car trips were something Carol and Iouri really enjoyed together.

Carol and her husband moved to Arizona in July 2020, to the wonderful and warm place where they were planning to retire, and spend the rest of their lives together.

Carol had a great love of gardening and a flare for cooking and baking for those she loved. She savored her time with her grandchildren, mother and tight-knit family.

Carol was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was compassionate and kind and a ray of sunshine always. Her calm and gentle way was both admirable and envied. She strongly loved God and believed in him.
