SANBORNVILLE - Carol Ann Mooney, 65, of Walsh Road in Sanbornville, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at Hyder Hospice in Dover. Born May 6, 1952 and raised on Berry Street in Rochester, daughter of Cleon and Phyllis Cilley, she resided for years in Springvale and Lebanon, Maine, lived in Hawaii from 1988-1993 and resided in Sanbornville since 1994.
A loving homemaker and mother, in earlier years she had worked in local shoe factories and at Baxter Woolen Mills.
Carol was a volunteer with the Wakefield Food Pantry. She enjoyed helping others, a very caring person.
Widow of the late Robert W. Mooney, she is survived by their four children: Robert M. Mooney and girlfriend Kim, Colleen and husband Ed Shaad, Deborah and husband Duane Nau, Patrick and wife Victoria Mooney; 12 grandchildren seven brothers including William Cilley; also many nieces and nephews.
