ROCHESTER - Carrie A. Foss, 95, of The Studley Home in Rochester, died on on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born in Newfields to Edward and Beatrice Kendall.
A graduate of New England Deaconess Hospital, RN, Boston, Mass., and New England College, BA in Psychology and Sociology, Henniker. She was the Executive Director of the Child Development Center of Strafford County (now known as the Monarch School) working with special needs students. Carrie was a Hospice volunteer for many years.
She was a talented seamstress and avid quilter and she was known for her painting and unique craft interests.
The widow of Carl Foss, who died in 1986, her survivors include Judith Bryant and husband Robert, Brian Foss and his wife Cynthia Spencer and children Adam, Derek, Liz and Kate, and Roger Foss and wife Susan and son Colin and many great-grandsons and great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by a brother Edward E. Kendall and sister Frances M. Kendall.
