ROCHESTER - A special evening's tribute to iconic musician Dan Fogelberg music, performed along with traditional holiday favorites, performed by the national award winning Don Campbell Band is slated for Thursday at the Castle on Charles. This will be an intimate concert, a listening event - with a food station available along with drinks in the Tavern.
Don Campbell is a consummate musician who was dubbed Maine's best singer-songwriter. He won the Grand Prize in competition at the 'Grand Ole' Opry in Nashville, Tenn. And with his talented band he re-creates the lyrics and music of his hero, Dan Fogelberg - the multi-platinum selling artist, with hits such as "Leader of the Band", "Longer", "Same Old Lang Syne" and a large and diverse catalog of over 20 albums.

Dan Fogelberg passed away in 2007 after a three year battle with prostate cancer. Dan remains a huge influence and musical hero of Don Campbell, who released a double CD - "Kites To Fly: Celebrating the Music of Dan Fogelberg" and has recently been presenting live performances of this music. Campbell's performances are endorsed by The Fogelberg Foundation.

Tickets for the Fogelberg Holiday Tribute are $16, available at www.CastleNH.com. For this show we offer a minimum wait self-serve food concession, with appetizers, a salad, and beef stew over rice. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with drinks and food available in the Castle's Tavern. The show starts just after 7 p.m.

A New England musical legacy, Sharon Jones has performing throughout Boston, the Northeast and New York. The Tavern opens at 6pm with drinks and a small menu, the show begins at 7 and the dancing will go until 11 p.m. The cost for the Last Blast is only $5 at the door.
