Cement truck rollover shuts down I-93 south for more than eight hours

HOLDERNESS - A blown tire is being blamed for a cement truck rollover on Interstate 93 in Holderness on Thursday.
State Police responded around 1:55 p.m. to I-93 South near mile marker 79.8 where they found a loaded Coleman Cement truck in the median. No injuries were reported, but the southbound lanes was closed for hours, and traffic was diverted off exit 24 in Ashland, as crews worked to recover the vehicle.
The crews worked feverishly amid Thursday's heat trying to reopen the roadway, but it remained closed until after 10 p.m.
