ROCHESTER - Charles H. Scott, Jr., 77, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at his home after a period of failing health.
Charles was born in Rochester, N.H., on August 1, 1938, the son of Charles H. and Louise (Lachance) Scott, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. He was an Army veteran serving four years. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a serviceman with Northern Utilities Gas Company for 27 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was predeceased by his wife and best friend of 49 years, Mary (Beardsworth) Scott and was also predeceased by his parents.
Surviving members of the family include: three sons, Norman, Mark and his wife Kimberly, and Jamie and his wife Kathy, nine grandchildren, Sherri, Bryan, Brett, Anthony, Andy, Katie, Chris, Jared, and Jason, two great-grandchildren, Mary and Blake, one sister, Marie McSheehan and her husband John.
