WAKEFIELD - Cheryl Lyn Doddrell, 49, of Wakefield, died on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital with her family by her side.
Cheryl was born in Rochester to Sandra and Harold Foss on May 5, 1969. She was a 1987 graduate of Nute High school, and married her husband Jeffery Doddrell on Oct. 8, 1988.
Cheryl was a very hard worker and strong willed person. Always working hard for what she wanted. She accomplished her goal and was able to open her own assisted living facility in Wakefield in 2009. She always was caring for others and doing her best to provide the best care and love for her residents. She lived the fullest through simple pleasures whether it was chatting with friends or spending time with family. Cheryl had a very special way of reaching people in a positive way. She was always her family's go to person when they needed an ear to vent. Cheryl enjoyed spending her little bit of free time at her lake house on Lake Ivanhoe, She was so proud of the accomplishment of being able to have a getaway place with her family.
Cheryl is survived by husband, Jeffery Doddrell of 30 years; two daughters, Lynlee Doddrell and Taylor Doddrell; one granddaughter, Caleigh Maskell; mother, Sandra Foss; two sisters, Tammy Lavertue and Anne Foss; two brothers, Skip Foss and Craig Foss; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by father, Harold Foss.
