ROCHESTER - Cheryl Margeson, 67, died Monday, March 2, 2015, after a period of failing health.

Cheryl was born in Winchester, Mass. on January 9, 1948, the daughter of William H. and Gertrude (Loud) Margeson and had been living in Rochester since 1969, moving from North Reading, MA where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1966. She was a member of the Rainbow girls and the Eastern Star and enjoyed softball, sports, karaoke, bowling, music and camping. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Janice Duffy and her husband George, and brothers Billy and Eddy and a friend and longtime companion, Phyllis Arlington. Before retirement she worked at Marcam Associates in Somersworth, N.H.
Surviving members of the family include: one sister, Sandra Mitchell of North Andover, MA, one brother, Richard Margeson and wife Martha of Freedom, NH. A longtime friend Maxine York of Rochester, a special thanks and friend Paula Freeman and family, Phyllis Arlington's son, Derek, her little dog and sweet heart Bailey (I love you), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express a special thanks to all the health care agencies, the Colonial Hill of Rochester, Fresenius Medical Care, and a special thanks to all of her doctors.
