Child's autopsy findings prompt further probe, AG's office says

CONCORD - The investigation into the suspicious death of a five-year-old Laconia boy on Christmas Eve will continue, the Attorney General's office announced on Friday.

Police responded to 103 Blueberry Lane, # 67, on Tuesday where they found inside the home a male child, identified as Dennis Vaughan Jr. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

After an autopsy was conducted by the medical examiner, it was determined the cause and manner of the boy's death needed further studies and investigation, the AG's office reported.
