ROCHESTER - Cinco's Cantina recently donated $1,000 to Rochester Main Street.
The funds were raised from a portion of the sales during Cinco's soft opening celebration at its South Main Street location on Aug. 30.
"We want to start our journey in Rochester by giving back to the community right from the beginning," said Crescencio Tellez, co-founder and co-owner of Cinco's Cantina.
The donation will be used to help other downtown businesses make façade improvements.
"Partnering with Rochester Main Street allows us to contribute to projects that make Rochester's downtown more vibrant and prosperous for everyone," added Tellez.
Jeff Bisson, a representative from Rochester Main Street, emphasized the impact of local business support.
"Support from businesses like Cinco's is crucial to our success," he said. "This generous gift will allow us to continue improving our downtown area, making it a place where businesses thrive and residents feel proud to call home."
