ROCHESTER - First Church Congregational will hold its Winter Faire Weekend Friday, Nov. 6, from 3-7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A beef stew supper will be served from 4:30-6:30 on Friday.
On Saturday the doors open at 8 a.m. with a Blueberry pancake breakfast and "McChurches."
On both Friday and Saturday visitors can choose from a myriad of Handcrafts, including American Girl Doll clothing as well as Vintage & Collectibles, Apron Alley, Recycled Christmas, Once-Again Jewelry, Clutch Corner and the Book Shop.
The Bakery and Country Pantry will offer local maple syrup, butternut squash, bread 'n butter pickles and George Calef Fine Food cheese. Eventgoers can bring a sweater for the Sweater Drive to benefit Rochester's Fellowship Kitchen. If they do they'll get one free raffle ticket. Baskets to be raffled include: Chocolate Basket, Italian Basket, 2 Patriotic Baskets (to benefit Soldier's Helpers) and the well-dressed American Girl Doll! Tickets are $1 or 6/$5.
The shopping continues Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Winter Faire concludes at 1 p.m. when the winning raffle tickets are drawn. Winners need not be present to win.
The church is located at 63 South Main St. (next to the Public Library).
