ROCHESTER - Rochester's city clerk is urging residents to remember to vote in Tuesday's primary.

She said the city's official website has been updated to include sample ballots, polling locations, and absentee ballot request forms. Information can also be accessed by visiting City Hall.

"It's important to vote in every election," said City Clerk Kelly Walters. "We not only want to encourage voters to show up to the polls, but we also want to empower and educate first-time voters. We won't tell you who to vote for, but we're happy to provide you with the resources to make your voice heard on Election Day."

The City Clerk's website includes a page called 'How to Vote in Rochester,' which aims to help first-time voters register, look up their ward and polling location, and find the answers to a variety of frequently asked questions.

"We want everyone to make a plan to vote on Election Day," Walters added. "Even if you've never voted before, we're here to answer questions and provide assistance."
