City Councilor, state rep Gray takes District 6 Senate race

ROCHESTER - Republican state Rep. James Gray is the apparent winner of the Senate District 6 race after rival Democrat candidate Joe Casey conceded the race on Tuesday.
Gray won every city ward except Ward 4 and overall 7,125-6,868, according to results from the city clerk's office.
Gray is currently serving as a City Councilor in Seat B of Ward 6.
Republican incumbent Sam Cataldo decided not to run for re-election.

District 6 comprises Farmington, Alton, Barnstead, Gilmanton and New Durham.
