ROCHESTER - The Children's Room at the Rochester Public Library is hosting a 'Stuffed Animal Sleepover' on March 22, an event that encourages young readers to drop off their favorite stuffed animal for an overnight at the library.

Parents are invited to bring their child, and their favorite stuffed animal, to the library before 4:30 pm for drop off. Each child is encouraged to read a book to their stuffed animal before saying goodnight. Children will also have the opportunity to create name tags and sign permission forms allowing the library to take pictures of their stuffed animals. At 10:00 am the following morning, families can pick up their stuffed animals and enjoy a light breakfast.

"The Children's Librarians are so excited to spend the night in the library with our patron's favorite stuffed friend," said Christina Paquette, librarian. "It's been fun chatting with the children about which stuffed friend they will leave with us. We know that Wilbur will be here first thing on the 22nd."

Children do not need to be cardholders to participate in this event. For additional information or questions, readers are encouraged to contact the Rochester Public Library Children's Room at 603-335-7549 or visit their website at https://www.rpl.lib.nh.us/children.
