ROCHESTER - Rochester is looking for a resident of Ward 2 to come forward to run for its Seat B slot on the City Council which recently went vacant due to a resignation.
Any registered voter of Ward 2 can run for the office. To do so they must first submit a Statement of Interest form which can be obtained at the City Clerk's office and turned in between now and 9 am on Jan. 24.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to attend a special meeting of the City Council on Jan. 24 to participate in open interviews with councilors.
