ROCHESTER - A man was arrested on Monday after he got into a scuffle with another man in front of Rochester District Court.

Tyler P. Janvrin, 26, of Rochester, was at the court on legal matters when he got into an altercation with another man outside the courthouse around 1:50 p.m., Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today.

The fight was broken up by two police officers from Milton and Middleton who were at the court on separate issues. The two officers stayed on scene until Rochester Police arrived.

Janvrin was charged with five counts of simple assault with bodily injury, all Class A misdemeanors that carry a one-year maximum sentence in county jail each.

He was released after his arraignment earlier this week.
