ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was arrested on Wednesday in an arson that occurred this past summer.

Fred Watson, 25, of 58a Winter St., was charged with a felony in connection with the incident, which allegedly occurred at Bob's towing located at 49 Stillings Court.

Police say the arson occurred on June 23 when Watson set fire to a vehicle on the premises.

Detectives determined that Watson was a possible suspect and subsequently established enough probable cause to apply for an arrest warrant for him.

Watson was freed on personal recognizance and will be arraigned next month in Rochester District Court.

He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
