City man faces life imprisonment over fatal overdose

DOVER - A Rochester man accused of dispensing a deadly dose of drugs to another is facing life in prison.
Tyler J. Harvey, 38, with a last known address of 17 Norway Plains Road, Apt. #50, was indicted last month on a single charge of Acts Prohibited-Death Resulting, a special felony that carries up to a life sentence.
Harvey allegedly gave the victim, Nathan Sweeney, 26, of Rochester, a quantity of either meth or fentanyl or both in Rochester on May 6, 2020, leading to his death.

According to his obituary, Sweeney enjoyed biking and nature,
The August indictments were handed down on Aug. 16 and released last week.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to warrant moving forward to trial.
