DOVER - A Rochester man has been indicted on 11 drug trafficking, theft and weapons charges that could land him in state prison for the rest of his life.

Donald Saylor, 35, with a last known address of 105 Whitehouse Road, stands formally charged with one count of drug possession of methylphenidate, trafficking in buprenorphine, receiving stolen property - an Oneida Strike Compound Bow - and eight felon in possession charges with regard to various firearms. The guns for which his is charged include an RG 14 revolver, a JC Higgins 12 gauge bolt action model, an H&R pump shotgun, a Stevens 22 caliber, a Savage Model 64 22 caliber, a Savage 303 Model 1899, a Ruger AR-556 and a Ruger SR 22.

All of the charges were filed on Nov. 24 regarding an incident in Rochester.

Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today that Rochester Police initiated the investigation into Saylor and subsequently worked and shared information with other law enforcement agencies before turning the case over to the Strafford County Attorneys Office.

Both drug charges carry a 15-30 year prison stint, while the theft and gun charges carry three and a half to seven years apiece.

The October grand jury indictments were handed down on the 14th and released on Friday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been gathered to move forward to trial.
