DOVER - A 24-year-old Rochester man is facing up to seven years in prison for allegedly enticing a 15-year-old girl to send him nude photographs of herself over the Internet.

Kyle Hatch, of Bridge Street, was indicted on uses of computers services prohibited, a Class B felony.

According to court documents, Hatch used Facebook Messenger to "seduce, solicit, lure or entice" the victim into sending him a photo of her genitals.

The statute is provided under the endangering the welfare of a child or incompetent laws and strictly prohibits such activity when the child is under the age of 16.

The offending complaint originated in New Durham and allegedly occurred between June 11 and June 13 of last year.

The Strafford County grand jury indictements were handed down on July 19 and released on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather than enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to warrant a trial.
