DOVER, N.H. - The Rochester man alleged to have stolen foreign currency and collectible coins during a burglary of the Rochester Flea Market on Milton Road in January has been indicted.

James Cullen, 45, of 32 Buffy St., broke a window during the early morning hours of Jan. 18 to gain entrance into the building, Rochester Police Capt. Gary Boudreau said today.

Cullen was developed as a suspect using security video and quickly arrested before he had a chance to fence the loot, Boudreau added.

He was indicted on burglary, possession of controlled drug Tramadol (an opioid pain medication) and falsifying physical evidence in that he allegedly "removed Tramadol tablets from a cigarette box and concealed them in his pants," according to court records.

The three felonies carry prison sentences totaling a maximum of 29 years.

He also faces a year in county jail in connection with a Jan. 11 arrest on possession of marijuana.

Rochester Police show several arrests for Cullen dating back to 2008, including drug possession, driving after suspension, shoplifting and burglary.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down March 17 and released on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to move forward to trial.
