City man pleads guilty to fentanyl trafficking conspiracy

CONCORD - A Rochester man pleaded guilty today to participating in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, the U.S. Attorneys Office announced.

According to court documents and statements made in court, Thomas Fall, 44, formerly of Willey Street, conspired with others to distribute fentanyl in 2018 and 2019.

In July and August of 2019, an individual who was cooperating with the DEA participated in four controlled drug purchases from Fall and another individual at their Rochester residence. In total, the transactions involved approximately 100 grams of fentanyl.

On Jan. 14, the DEA and other law enforcement agencies arrested Fall, who admitted to participating in the drug conspiracy and stated that for a period of three to six months in 2018 and 2019, he and another individual purchased fentanyl from a Massachusetts-based source and then distributed some of the fentanyl to New Hampshire-based drug customers.

Fall is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 25.

"Massachusetts fentanyl distributors continue to reach into New Hampshire in search of profits" said U.S. Attorney Scott Murray. "In this case, the potentially lethal drugs were sold in Rochester. In order to disrupt the interstate drug pipeline, it is essential to arrest and prosecute those who make the sales and secure the profits. Drug dealers should be aware that the U.S. Attorney's Office, the DEA, the Strafford County Task Force and a wide variety of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are working every day to put them out of business."

This case was investigated by the DEA's Tactical Diversion Squad, the New Hampshire State Police, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Strafford County Drug Task Force. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Cole Davis.
