City motorcyclist gets minor injury in Portland St crash

ROCHESTER - A Rochester motorcyclist sustained minor injuries on Tuesday when his Harley Davidson went off the road on Portland Street.

The accident occurred around 6:15 a.m. in the area of 419 Portland St. when police say Black Labonte, 26, was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson Road King when he attempted to avoid a vehicle that was making a left hand turn.

Labonte lost control of the motorcycle while braking, causing the motorcycle to go off the road. He suffered what were described as minor injuries.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage and had to be towed from the scene.
