ROCHESTER - The Winter Festival, previously scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to the predicted bitter cold weather.
Rec staff and event partners agree that the low temperature will pose a danger to both participants and volunteers. A new date will be announced shortly.
The free, family-friendly event will include music, hot cocoa, s'mores, a touch-a-truck, and ice skating. Attendees are encouraged to bring food donations for the Raider Station Food Pantry at Spaulding High School.
