ROCHESTER - Claire Cook, 74, of Madison Avenue, died on Tuesday Oct. 27, 2020 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born June 1, 1946 in Rochester the daughter of the late Donat and Cecile (Lemoyne) Gagnon. She was a lifelong resident of Rochester and communicant of Holy Rosary Church. Claire enjoyed crafting but especially spending time with her grandchildren.

The widow of Gary S. Cook who died in 1997, she is survived by sons, Gary Cook, Jr. and his wife Diane White, Michael Cook; daughter, Susan Tanksley and her husband Richard; grandchildren, Jason Elliott, Sara Cook, Jesse Cook, Brad and Billy White; great grandchildren, Kayley, Kaylee, Milo, Tonya and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Michael Cook, brother, Paul Gagne; sister Helen Massingham.
