DOVER - Claire J. Maloy, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Born September 3, 1942 in Dover, N.H., the daughter of Joseph A. and Rita (Houde) Michaud.
Claire graduated from Dover High School, class of 1960 and MacIntosh College in 1982. She was a resident of Dover, Somersworth and Rochester for most of her life.
Claire enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed crafting. She enjoyed working at the Salvation Army and Walgreens in Rochester. In recent years she most enjoyed her time serving as Eucharistic Minister and other activities at St. Mary's Church in Rochester.
She is survived by a son, Joseph A. Strout Jr., daughter Victoria L. Strout; brothers, Clement Michaud and his wife Louiselle and Donald E. Michaud and his wife Margaret; sister Elaine M. Gagne and her husband Maurice; grandson Thomas M. Walker and his wife Megan; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Her husband Frederick J. Maloy Jr. joined his wife on Thursday March, 21, 2019.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation for the care they provided to my mother over the past year and a half.
