STRAFFORD - Colette Marie Clickman, 71, of Strafford, died on Friday August 13, 2021, with her husband of 30 years, Merlin, by her side.

Colette was born April 6, 1950, in Rochester to the late Leo and Therese (Heon) Roberge.

She worked at Strafford Learning Center and at SAU 56 and SAU 5 as assistant to the superintendent. After retiring from SAU 5 in 2008, she worked part time for the town of Madbury as assistant to the selectmen. Colette's loving soul led her to serve her family and community in many ways, such as serving as the registrar for NHAEOP, visiting patients in hospice, and helping at the Rochester homeless shelter. In addition, she found her time volunteering as a Guardian ad Litum for Casa of NH and mentoring children for Big Brothers and Big Sisters particularly meaningful. A devoted Catholic, she sang in multiple choirs, served as a NH Cursillo team member, and was an extraordinary minister for Mother Angeline Ministry of care. She loved reading, tending plants, hiking, and spending time with her family and adored dog, Dylan.

Colette is survived by husband, Merlin, children Erica Letourneau (Lance Parsons), Jeremy Letourneau (Abby Hoops), Jenny Thurber (Chad), Matt Clickman (Cathy Robey-Clickman), Amanda Hamilton (Matt), Joshua Clickman (Nicole), and grandchildren Mary and Grace Parsons; Kyle and Evan Letourneau; Sophie, Zoey, and Jesse Foote, and Josh and Abbie Thurber; Zachary, Sylvia, Jacob, and Lillie Hamilton; and Benjamin, Emma, Molly, and Jack Clickman. She is also survived by her siblings Bernard Roberge, June Paradis, Conrad Roberge (Joan), Ann Morrissette (Jim), and Claire Norton (Lee), along with nieces and nephews.
