Comcast exec is keynote speaker for annual TechWomen event

The TechWomen|TechGirls initiative of the NH Tech Alliance is pleased to announced this week that Leslie Ann Buckley, the Northeast Division Vice President of Reliability Engineering for Comcast, is the keynote speaker of the 2020 TechWomen Annual Luncheon.

In her role, Buckley leads major network and engineering reliability efforts, including optimization for the 9 million customers across her division.

At the lunch, Buckley will trace her nontraditional career journey in technology and share the challenges she has faced, as well as the successes and learnings she has gained along the way. Her call to action will include the top top three things women can do to truly make a difference. The awards luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 1 at the Bedford Village Inn, 2 Old Bedford Way in Bedford.

"We are fortunate to have a leader of Leslie's caliber, expertise and achievement to headline this year's TechWomen|TechGirls awards luncheon," said Shannon Herrmann, chairperson of the awards luncheon committee. "Leslie has more than 20 years of business leadership experience and a proven track record of championing others through her work as the Executive Sponsor for Comcast Women's Network in Manchester and her involvement with Comcast's Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives."

At Comcast, Ms. Buckley leads a team of 300 network engineers, dedicated management and support staff. Her areas of focus include strategy development and execution, building and optimizing field and network operations teams, and customer experience strategy.

Focused on Women in Technology and supporting STEM initiatives, she has solidified her reputation as a mentor, encouraging and supporting her staff and colleagues, empowering and guiding the next generation of technology and business leaders.
