If you think it's cold right now, well, go outside and enjoy the warmth, because it's not going to feel this "mild" again for three days.

In fact, according to Accuweather predictions, the wind chill will be down to -20 degrees by noon today and then just keep going south.

Tonight the deep freeze goes into mega-freeze mode with an overnight low of -5 and wind chill readings of -28 degrees.

Saturday will see diminishing winds but the mercury cancels any gains by heading ever further below the zero mark. By 4 p.m. the wind chill will be 29 below.

So we know people stock up on shovels and ice-melt when a blizzard's coming, so what's the big rush now?

"We're selling a lot of supplemental heaters," said a Milton Hardware employee today.

She added that propane, electric and kerosene heaters were all in high demand, adding their ventless propane heaters were sold out.

Fearing frozen pipes, many customers were also stocking up on heat tape, especially for those who live in mobile homes.

If you can just get by the next two days relief is on the way as on Sunday the big chill begins the big thaw with temps beginning to slowly rise from -12 at 8 a.m. some 25 degrees to 13 above at 3 p.m.

Winds remain calm and by 10 a.m. Monday we're back in the 20s.

Don't forget the sunblock.
