Saturday's party is based on the children's classic 'The Corgiville Fair'

MILTON - A day at the Corgiville Fair as inspired by the children's classic by Tasha Tudor takes place this Saturday at the New Hampshire Farm Museum when it will be transformed into a carnival of wonderment for kids.

Games, prizes and complimentary cotton candy and popcorn will punctuate the daylong celebration of an old-time country fair.

Based on the children's classic "The Corgiville Fair," the day will feature all the kinds of things you'd expect at an old-time country fair. Additionally, longtime volunteer Carolyn Chase will be giving tours while performing the role of Tasha Tudor.

Among the featured events will be sack races, face painting and many other kid-friendly games of chance and skill.
