COVID-19 current cases, hospitalizations continue dramatic decline

CONCORD - DHHS announced 270 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Sunday with a current PCR test positivity rate of 2.2 percent.

The newly identified cases include 45 juveniles and 21 from Strafford County.

Local current caseloads show 33 in Rochester, 45 in Dover, 26 in Somersworth, 30 in Barrington, 10 in Strafford, eight in Farmington and seven in Milton.

No additional deaths were reported, while those hospitalized dropped to 87.

Meanwhile, current cases statewide stand at 2,532. down from the 6,468 listed at the start of the year.
