COVID hospitalizations cut by more than half since a month ago; city cases at 32

CONCORD - DHHS announced 226 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Monday with a test positivity rate of 5.8 percent, higher than in most recent days.

The newly identified cases include 26 minors and 34 from Strafford County.

Local cases remain low with 36 in Rochester, 32 in Barrington, 12 in Somersworth and Farmington, five in Strafford and 1-4 in Milton.

No new deaths were reported by DHHS.

There are currently 81 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19, down from 179 a month ago..
