STRAFFORD - Craig E. Hastings, 73, of Crown Point Road in Strafford, died December 16, 2021 at Mass General in Boston.

Born October 20, 1948 in Rochester, a son of William & Esther (Howard) Hastings, he grew up in Strafford.

A Veteran of the Army, he served during the Vietnam War.

Craig was retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, after 35 years.

He enjoyed his part time job and coworkers at the Recycling Center in Strafford.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, car races, yearly vacations to Boothbay Harbor, Maine, and time with his family.

Survived by his wife Helen Hastings, son Jason Hastings and girlfriend Kristina Danaher, granddaughter Chloe Hastings and partner Lindsay Chase, brother John and wife Bev Hastings, sisters: Cheryl Hastings, Linda and husband Clifford Dodson, Holly & husband Rick Adler, many nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws. Predeceased by his parents, and grandparents: Henry & Vivian Hastings, Mabel & Leslie Howard.
