CONCORD - The state's DHHS announced 26 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Saturday, including four minors.

Two new hospitalized cases were identified for a total of 672 since the pandemic began, while those currently in hospital with the virus sank to 20, the lowest number in months.

DHHS also announced one additional death related to COVID-19, a female from Hillsborough County 60 or older.

Local numbers from the state include eight in Rochester, six in Dover, 1-4 in Somersworth, Farmington and Strafford and none in Barrington and Milton.

It should be noted that Rochester's and state numbers differing vastly in the past two weeks, with Rochester EOC officials reporting either one or no cases.

State epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan told The Rochester Voice last week he wasn't surprised with the difference, saying they don't release all data to local cities and towns due to privacy concerns.
