ROCHESTER - David Brian Russell, 67, of Rochester, died peacefully at home April 1, after a short period of failing health.

Born January 4, 1954, to James Sidney Russell and Ila May (Kezer) in Hardwick Vt. He graduated from Concord High School in 1972. David proudly served in Marine Corps 1973-1977 and Army National Guard 1984-1990. He graduated from Hesser College with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science (Digital Electronics) in 1985.

Members of his family include his wife Susanne (Wadleigh) of 40 years, son James Russell of Manchester, daughter Lauren LeDuc and husband William, grandsons Samuel and Owen LeDuc of Rochester, Brother Michael and wife Melody Russell of Woodstock, Vt. Sisters Sharon Gordon of Concord, Kathryn White and husband Dennis of Dandridge, Tenn., Elizabeth Hewitt of Belmont, NH and Susan Gagne and husband Dennis of Concord. David was predeceased by his parents James and Ila and brothers Patrick and Timothy.

David was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Farmington Fish and Game Club where he was a director for a number of years. He enjoyed going to the Club to shoot, fish or work on whatever activity was going on at the time.

He was an avid gardener always expanding his planting to include more exotic plants.
