Deadly day on COVID front: Four from county among 16 virus-related deaths

CONCORD - DHHS announced 16 more deaths related to COVID-19 on Thursday, including three women and one man from Strafford County. All the newly confirmed deaths were over 60.

Also announced was 721 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 3.3 percent, a rate that continues to drop.

The newly identified cases include 105 minors and 83 from Strafford County.

Local current case counts show 171 in Rochester, 133 in Dover, 57 in Somersworth, 28 in Farmington, 27 in Barrington, 16 in Milton and 14 in Strafford.
