Deadly fire erupts at Epsom mobile home; ID of victim not released

EPSOM - Safety officials are reporting a fatal fire in Epsom that occurred at a mobile home on Sunday.

Fire crews responded to 19 Breezy Acres around 7:50 p.m. and found the structure heavily involved.

After the fire was extinguished, a deceased victim was located inside.

Positive identification of the victim and cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy that will take place today at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Concord.

The investigation into the cause is ongoing.

State Fire Marshal Paul Parisi took the opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of never smoking in or around medical oxygen and to always have working smoke alarms on each level of the home both inside and outside all sleeping areas.
