Deborah Shigo ... conservation volunteer

ROCHESTER - Deborah Shigo, 64, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Deb grew up in Stratford, Conn.
Deb gave countless hours volunteering with the Appalachian Mountain Club and City of Rochester conservation committee in New Hampshire. She was a tireless advocate of open spaces and conservation.
Deb will always be remembered by friends and family for her constantly positive attitude, drive and passion for the things she believed in.
Deb is survived by her best friend Dale Duckworth and her husband Rick, her sister Marie and husband Tad Hjerpe, brother Al and his wife Moira, nieces Christine and Karen Hjerpe, Susanna Shigo, nephew Nicholas Shigo.
