First some good news from CVHS. Rooster was adopted!

Our new pet of the week is Dennett. Dennett has an amazing story! At 3 years old she has lived through a lot! She was brought in by the police after spending her time living outside in below freezing temperatures. Her body temperature was so low she couldn't stop shaking or stand. Our dedicated medical staff stayed with her through the night until they could get her temperature up. It took Dennett almost two months to recover! The severe frostbite on all four of her paws became evident. These injuries had required daily medical care including frequent bandage and wound treatments. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts Dennett lost two of her toes to frostbite. Healed and happy, Dennett is ready to go to a nice warm home with a loving family. She has earned her place by the fire and is ready to start living the next chapter of her life in her forever home! Stop by to meet this incredible cat!
