MILTON - Dennis Gregoire, 66, of 10 Rocky Point Road passed away May 31, 2014, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Born December 22, 1947, in Rochester he was the son of Noel Gregoire of Berwick, Maine, and the late Mary Irene (Mayo) Gregoire.

Dennis has lived in Milton for the past 22 years after growing up in Somersworth. He is a graduate of Dover High School class of 63'. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War in which he was on the USS Bangfish. He worked as a machinist at General Electric in Somersworth until retirement in 2002 and later went to work at G4S Security Solutions for nine years. He was a member of the Somersworth American Legion Post 69. He enjoyed music, reading, landscaping, working in the yard and woodworking. He also loved to play his mom’s organ.

Members of his family include, his wife of 22 years, Cheryl (Winslow) Gregoire of Milton, his sons; Michael Gregoire and his wife Buppah of Sanford, Maine and John Gregoire of Alfred, Maine, Stepsons Eric Winslow of Dover and Erle Winslow of Lawrence, Mass, his sisters; Judi Gregoire of Naples, Fla., Priscilla Belair and her husband Leo of Berwick, Maine, Linda Gregoire-West of Somersworth, Jerine Molleur and her husband Tim of Lebanon, Maine. His grandchildren; Kailie McDonald and Anthony Gregoire, many nieces and nephews.
