ROCHESTER - Dianne (Mansfield) Morgan was born in Haverhill, Mass., on May 9, 1932, to Mary Josephine and Gurdon Raymond Mansfield. Her family moved to Rochester when she was a young girl. She attended School Street School and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1950. After attending Becker Junior College in Worchester Mass., she started working at GE in Somersworth as a secretary.

Dianne married Charles (Skip) Morgan in 1952 and was a wonderful mother to 5 children.

Dianne was a learner and a doer and a caregiver to many over the years. She enjoyed new experiences and learning new things and gave it all to her various hobbies and occupations in banking, the catering business, head cook at the middle school, and secretary to the Spaulding High school nurse.

After retirement, and for four years prior to COVID, Dianne worked as a foster grandparent at McClelland school in Rochester in kindergarten and first grade classrooms. She loved helping the little ones in their journeys.

She always looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dianne loved cross country skiing with Patrick, golfing, and spending time in the winter in both Florida and California. She enjoyed her time with the many friends and fellow members from Nippo Lake Golf Club. Going to the beach, walking, board and card games, cooking, reading, puzzles and knitting were some of her favorite activities. For many years she participated with the planning of her Class of 1950 reunions.

Dianne was a member of St. Mary Church and enjoyed helping with their fund-raisers by working in the kitchen. She also contributed by knitting with the Prayer Shawl Group.

She always looked forward to meeting with the AlphaBets (the GE girls), the bank girls and the Nippo golf girls for their monthly lunches, which were a highlight in her life. Friends were very important to her, and she cherished those friendships through many years.

Dianne was predeceased by a son Patrick, husband Skip, and her brother, G. Raymond Mansfield Jr. and his wife Eleanor, her sister- in- law Lorraine Fenwick and husband Paul.

She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Lynda, daughter Kyle Cote and her husband Roger, son Peter and son Jeffrey, her sister Mary Jo Mansfield, three grandchildren, Garrett and his wife Carolyn Morgan, Melanie and her husband Matt Gelinas, and Jessica Cote and her fiancé Adam Daley, six great grand- children Lexi, Evie, Owen and Josie Morgan, Maxwell and Morgan Gelinas, and many nieces and nephews .

She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
